A rare and spectacular club night, REEL MUSIC: Halloween Special comes highly recommended. Literally a multi-sensory experience of ear-meltingly good music from your favourite movie soundtracks, astonishing costumes that will make your eyes bleed, and pitchers of booze to tantalise your tastebuds, Reel Music brings all this to you from the vintage treasure trove of Bloomsbury Bowling Lanes.
On the night you can expect obscure cult hits to sing-a-long classics, all accompanied by film clips projected on to the dance-floor backdrop. Reel Music is famous for it’s all-encompassing movie theme, which extends to costumes of course, and a photographer will be on hand to record the Best Dressed Oscar winners.
What’s a movie night without popcorn you say? Reel Music have it covered with free popcorn throughout the night, as well as Halloween-themed candy treats. If you’re hungry for something more substantial, slip into a booth in the 50s-style diner, and don’t forget to keep an eye out for Pulp Fiction’s Mia Wallace, needle in heart and all.
Not only is there dance-floor, a bar and a diner, you can book a bowling lane or karaoke booth, or if you fancy yourself the Hustler there’s a foosball and pool table. Too much Dirty Dancing? Take a time-out in the Horror Movie Score Chill Out Zone in the separate cinema area.
